Composition, lighting, style, wardrobe, symmetry, emotions, and of course some technical ability…these are all the things that go into every portrait session and every photo shoot with Julian. There is nothing more powerful than ‘real’ emotions, ‘real’ personalities, and ‘really’ knowing that photography is much more than just owning a camera, but knowing people and having experience with amazing teachers. My difference I extend to all my clients is about my overall finished product, but is really highlighted by my process working with any client from the first contact, through session and selection, to ordering and delivery, and following up to make sure everything worked out well and everyone was happy.

What a great day of action and even more fun was seeing everyone out in their golf best with lots of great energy all over the course. We had photographers stations around the course and at the 1st tee box ready to capture each foursome just before starting their annual round for this SMBA feature event.

Summer Family Portrait Specials on the Horizon

My oh my has this year flown by and we’re now into the summer family portraits timeframe! There are so many great locations in the greater Seattle, Bellevue, Woodinville, Lynnwood and Everett areas that I can pretty much just get a phone call about family pictures or childrens pictures and before I know it we’ve settled on a fun location for a great session.

Some of my favorite locations are Snoqualmie Valley, Alki Beach, Juanita Beach in Kirkland, and the beautiful countryside just behind Redmond Ridge, all producing fantastic family portrait sessions. Last summer I had the opportunity to take a drive into Snoqualmie with the family and produced some really funny pictures as you will see below.

“I’ve never been good with getting my picture taken,” said Annette before we started her business headshot session in Woodinville at my studio.

Rest assured I let her know that many Bellevue and Seattle business professionals come to me specifically because their last professional headshot studio session or headshots photographer could not capture their true personality, and thus they were left wondering if anyone could…until they come to see me!

We wound up with some great new professional headshots for Annette to use in all her marketing materials, her new website for her business, and for anything else to attract new clients in the greater Bellevue and Seattle areas.

“I would definitely refer you to anyone,” said Annette after her professional business headshots session. “This was relaxing, fun, and I enjoyed my experience with you.” I was all smiles after hearing this.

What a great time we had photographing Brian in downtown Bellevue for his senior portrait session that has been long overdue. We had about two hours to photograph Brian, similar to his brother’s senior pictures session in Bellevue two years ago. Utilizing his longboard and other skateboard, Brian’s senior pictures session wound up being pretty cool, especially trying to capture ‘motion’! Two years ago I worked with his brother Mateo, Bellevue High School Class of 2009 who insisted he have his senior pictures photographed on the train tracks that are above I-90, which wound up being a super cool session with some amazing colors to photograph

Isaac at Woodinville High School | Senior Portrait Photographer

After photographing Isaac’s sister a couple years ago where we had some really fun images, I was pleased to work with the family again to capture their second of three children at the turn of their Senior year in high school. We completed Isaac senior pictures session in the Juanita area of Kirkland where there is a great variety of photographic scenery.

With so many great images Isaac’s family is having a senior portrait album made whereby we take the best 20-30 images and combine with quotes, sayings and favorite images from the session to create a one-of-a-kind album that is anywhere from 20-35 pages, hardbound with a great cover and back cover just like having your own personal ‘coffeetable’ album.
